I rather enjoyed this little crime thriller/mystery. It's not overly produced, but has a tight little script much like a dime-store novel of the day.

It's also pretty fast-moving through the story and plot. The lead detective is pretty likable and it kind of kept me guessing... which was cool too.

For a 77-minute, 1955 old school noir... this is well worth a watch.
