Clocking in at just over an hour, this one moves swift, folks!

Randolph Scott stars in this story about a part of the Civil War struggle in the West that you never really hear about. The Union needs gold to buy guns, ammunition and such and that gold comes from California. And that means it has to cross the wild west country to get there.

Scott plays the newly appointed station master in Julesburg, Colorado to help get the shipments through. But the Southern sympathizing roughnecks are trying to stop him.

Guns fire. Horses Neigh. Dust settles.
