Hooptober X Film #36 of 37
5 Films from De Palma, Wes Craven, Ken Russell, Hitchcock and/or Moorehead & Benson
A great and refreshing entry to the franchise. I should’ve guessed it was gonna be meta, but holy cow they took it to another level. As much as I love the original, the sequels are less to be desired without Wes helming the project. He brought familiarity and uniqueness to the Nightmare scripts which make them so enjoyable and fun to watch. Wes has a ton of great films under his belt, making him my favorite horror director. I wish in some other world I could just sit and have a chat with him
