Had no idea this was a Horror Comedy!
Right up my alley!

Had no idea this was directed by Sung Kang from the FAST & FURIOUS franchise films! What the hell is he doing directing his first film as a horror comedy set in the 90's. Strange. But he also makes a cameo which is pretty funny.

Had no idea that this was a shoestring budget. And they did a great job with almost no money. Very nice!

Okay, it's no great barn-burner of a film... but it sure is a HELL OF A LOT OF FUN!!!

Kind of checks all the boxes of various horror genres on purpose. And the two lead actresses are really funny and extremely likable. They carry the film and make it all quite enjoyable!

...oh wait... now I see the tagline:

"A Night of Werewolves, Zombies and Ice Cream"

Okay... yeah, I should've caught that. But didn't. Makes sense though. But I think I dug the surprise of this not being a straight-up horror film and it falling in line with the rest of my HOOPTOBER flavoring this year.

Well worth a watch!
