Hooptober #20: USA, 2010s, 1 LGBTQ+ connected film

I was really looking forward to vigilante lesbian vampires in LA and enjoyed the first 2/3 of this, but that ending was so disappointing. It feels like the story is trying to claim that Duke's leadership of the group is as bad and harmful as Vlad's control over his wives, and...no? It's not the same at all! Yes, absolute power corrupts absolutely, but in this particular case I was Team Duke and wish they could have talked it out instead of having to fight.
