Iiiinteresting. Did not expect a harrowing morality tale about adultery and family structure, but it's definitely sordid and lurid enough to make an impact. As with Peppermint Candy and some other 20th-century Korean movies, I feel like I'm missing a lot of societal context, which makes me curious to learn more about the country's cultural history.
