Began 25 Sept. 2020. Completed 17 Feb. 2022.
After really falling in love with several classic movies I decided I wanted to watch a whole lot more. Once I came across The American Film Institute's (AFI) 100 Years ... 100 Stars list, I decided it would be a good basis for creating a challenge for myself. I will be watching the highest rated unseen movie for each star. If two or more stars appear in the same movie, I will watch the second highest rated movie of the higher rated star.
I have already seen 0-8 movies for each star and some of these stars are actors I have really been impressed by their talents and/or enjoyed their on-screen presence.…

I have already seen 0-8 movies for each star and some of these stars are actors I have really been impressed by their talents and/or enjoyed their on-screen presence. On the high end, I have already seen 8 films starring James Stewart, but I have seen 7 films featuring Humphrey Bogart, Charlie Chaplin, Kirk Douglas, and Buster Keaton. On the low end, I have seen no films with Greta Garbo, James Cagney, Ginger Rogers, Mae West, Rita Hayworth or Mary Pickford so I am looking forward to finally seeing them perform. Unfortunately, I have only seen 1 film featuring another 14 of these stars. In the notes I have written which star is in each movie and how many films I have already seen with them.
If you are inspired to complete this challenge for yourself, I'd be happy to feature your list here as well and you can comment with your link below. You can find the list of AFI's stars here or here.
