The Sex Victims
★★½

We're all potential sex victims. I myself have been the victim of sex on a number of occasions. It's never a pretty sight. I'll spare you the details. Sometimes sex can even result in the sudden appearance of children in your life and, let me tell you, it can take years to get rid of them. Look out for sex, people. It can get you at any moment.

People complain about characters in horror movies acting nonsensically, but what else are you going to do if you're driving a truck in the English Home Counties and a naked woman rides a horse across the road? You're obviously going to leave your truck in the middle of the road (not to be seen again until what is supposed to be days later), chase after her angrily and then, when you stumble into a horseriding business, book yourself into some lessons.

It all becomes (sort of) clear in the end - and it all has to do with a very young Alun Armstrong (I was going to say "fresh-faced" but it looks like Alun was never very fresh-faced) getting up to no good and requiring retribution from beyond the grave. But exactly why this all plays out with some random friend of his and he gets brought back in at the end is just... a bit weird.

I can see the curio value being the motivating driver for the BFI to include this in their Short Sharp Shocks set, but this is probably the weakest entry.
