Hooptober X Film #9 of 37
3 Satan/Devil-centered Films
I don’t very much like the demonic side of horror. It’s some sketchy stuff that I don’t wanna mess with. The Exorcist is really testing it, but movies like Evil Dead where they got their Deadites which are obviously fictional makes it a lot easier. That being said, this was kind of in between. For some reason I was just really turned off to the story and didn’t really have any interest. I checked out early on and only got back into it in the last thirty minutes. The cast is great though, as well as Carpenter’s directing and the practical makeup (my gosh, it actually freaked me out a bit). I might have to give this another try sometime in the future, but for now, I wasn’t too impressed
