As a space lover, I'm always pumped to see a space movie be a big hit of the year. Rocky is so cute I love him. Ryan Gosling's performance is engaging as always. Cinematography & scope is absolutely stunning. Ryland & Rocky are such a loveable duo. What a beautiful movie, left me feeling very upbeat!
Never read the book, but I definitely will now when I get the chance!
I wanted to see her back in October when she went to the Seattle Climate Pledge Arena, but I wasn't able to get the ticket money. Still sad about that, but someday I'll see Dua in concert. This concert film is freakin' amazing! oh my gosh her stage presence is gorgeous, she's such a queen. Ugh, wish I could've been there! lmao.
I love that she posted this concert film free to watch though, what an icon.
Also, no one is talking about the "Rectum" track from Gaspar Noé's Irreversible playing at one point during the show at the 1:46:23 mark, tripped me out.
FUCCCCKKK YESSSS!!!!! So glad I got to experience this movie on a theater screen with the sound system and all. I love Godzilla! I've always appreciated how different movies have different timelines (stand alone and connected) and how Godzilla has many different depictions and interpretations. Hero, anti-hero, tragic victim, villain, animal, silly, fun, dark, scary, sad, etc. This felt like a straight up horror movie. Hearing that updated bassy 1954 Gojira roar in the theater gave me chills!
I know the majority did not care for it, but I actually was really into it. I do get why people disliked it. Usually I am always ready to give counterpoints and defenses when people have complaints about movies I like, but this and the first Joker are the rare exceptions where I understand alot of the complaints people have as a fan of those movies.
