You know you're in the right place when Lloyd Kaufman is doing a cameo and helping to sing a song about boobs.
Plus another opening song by a retro-90's sounding girl band all about "fun bags". Dear lordy, these filmmakers really leaned into this whole concept. And it was kind of delightful and extremely enjoyable.
So the title is accurate: the movie is about an evil set of boobs that eat, maim and kill people as they try to take over the world for their evil plastic surgeon named DR. CATE THULU. The actress playing the surgeon is frickin' hilariously over-the-top. Loved it. When she invokes the "ELDER GODS", it's wonderful.
There's a cartoon-ish couple of detectives that play their farcical roles perfectly. They know EXACTLY what kind of silliness they are representing and making fun of and I could have watched an entire movie with those two guys. So damn funny.
Actually, the entire movie is very clever and very funny. It's all tongue-in-cheek, of course. Never a serious moment... although there are some funny blood/gore moments. It's a comedy through and through.
The only drawback is the lack of a budget and some bad acting along the way by some supporting players. But that hardly holds anything back, as this movie is a fun-fest from top to bottom.
It definitely gets KAUFMAN's TROMA SEAL OF APPROVAL!
