If you're not German you most definitely don't know about Otto Waalkes. He's a local big name comedian who has been most popular in the mid 80s to early 00s.
I grew up watching his movies and stand ups. I adored the guy and he was probably a big influence on me but as I grow older and started to look back on his work I started to find more and more problems in it and my admiration for him kinda crumbled.
