Despite how utterly shite the year has been so far, I simply felt it wouldn't be right to miss out on one of my favourite annual traditions, no matter what's been going on. Therefore I'm back again for another round of Cinemonster's Hoop-Tober, my sixth one to date.

Despite how utterly shite the year has been so far, I simply felt it wouldn't be right to miss out on one of my favourite annual traditions, no matter what's been going on. Therefore I'm back again for another round of Cinemonster's Hoop-Tober, my sixth one to date.
I went into this year with one thing in mind, to improve the level of quality in the film section, mainly as I felt last year's list was somewhat lacking in that regard (too many sequels and obscure titles). This has resulted in a extensive and diverse list mostly consisting of various notable titles from from the 1940s right up to the 2020s, many of which again are being paired up in double bills.
I tried to follow as much as the rules as I could without altering my list too much (I'd had this one planned for several months), but couldn't satisfy every one sadly. I could add more films (originally this was going to be 60) but I'm still feeling a bit rusty after a long hiatus and I'd rather keep the list as low as possible.
