For the 200th anniversary of the publication of Mary Shelley's novel "Frankenstein; or, The Modern Prometheus," I re-read it and, then, reviewed a bunch of Frankenstein films. This list is a ranking of all of them that I've reviewed, from the classic Universal series, to the Technicolor Hammer splatters and beyond. A few are fairly faithful adaptations, more are loose reworkings and some have very little to do with Shelley's story besides monsters or character names.
