THIS FILM IS A SHOW OF FORCE

Holy shit. I don't really know what to say about this film. I was utterly transfixed to the screen the entire time. I've been out of the screen for 45 minutes and my ears are still ringing. This is, in my opinion, an absolute masterpiece. It is easily the best film of the year so far...Sinners who?

It's loud. It's brutal. And above all else, it's 90 minutes of straight anxiety and fear.…

Watched Sinners yesterday in IMAX and yeah, that fully worked for me. It's stunning to look at - moody, stylish, just dripping with atmosphere. The score absolutely slaps, and ties everything together in a way that makes the whole thing feel almost ethereal at times. The vibes are exactly my thing, and there’s loads to dig into if you’re into theories (especially after that post-credits bit).

Every time I watch this I:

a) remember how genuinely terrifying this is,
b) make the connection to 40k even stronger.

Great film.

Call me mad, but this is just excellent fun. Orlando Bloom was genuinely fantastic and I'll watch almost anything with Nick Mohammed's name on it.

Funny, creative, and very rewatchable.

A well told, harrowing, and true story of Lee Miller, a photographer for Vogue magazine in London during the 1940s. The film immaculately reveals the hardship, courage, and heartbreak of being a wartime photojournalist, akin to Garland's 2023 Civil War. However, the themes presented in Lee are far more distressing, and at times can be hard to watch. Kate Winslet's performance is my favourite of her's...though I admittedly don't think I've actually seen her in much. I also want to…
