BLUE EYE SAMURAI

WHY ARE WE NOT LOSING OUR DAMN MINDS OVER THIS!

I am OBSESSED and in LOVE with "Blue Eye Samurai" as I should be, because this is simply one of the greatest shows/seasons I have ever seen! Boasting incredible characters, impeccable writing and some of the best fight scenes I've seen maybe ever. It manages to never lack suspense, emotion, humour or entertainment, while also being very informative and having a great cultural aspect as well. The star of the…

“If we go to war, we could lose all we’ve built”

Watching my absolute favourite trilogy of all time: Part 2

"Dawn of the Planet of the Apes" is another masterpiece in this incredible trilogy and one of my favourite films. It delivers a compelling, action packed and emotionally charged cinematic experience. Matt Reeves manages to take the franchise to brand new heights, seamlessly blending groundbreaking effects with a thought provoking and engaging narrative. It is a testament to the…

I'm only 2 films deep into his filmography, and while I didn't adore this like Sing Street, I don't think John Carney is capable of making a film that doesn't put a big stupid grin on my face. The scene where they're walking through the streets listening to music is perfection! It's just a shame that Adam Levine/ his character drags it down a bit. Lovely film though.

P.S: I love Mark Ruffalo

Please don't let this beautiful little gem of a film go under your radar. Yes it's predictable, yes it's cheesy, yes it's almost too "feel good" in it's execution. But it's also surprisingly effective, funny, emotional and incredibly important. Also, if there was any justice in the world Robert Aramayo would be getting some awards buzz.

Just give it a watch if you can, these are the types of stories that we want told.

Baby Reindeer

I guess I’m going to have to be the contrarian here, because I did not like "Baby Reindeer" at all if I’m being honest. Everything about this show made me deeply uncomfortable, and not just in the obviously intended way. It's mere creation just doesn’t sit right with me in any way. I can’t help but feel like it’s incredibly self indulgent and very exploitative. But, putting that to the side I still thought it was slightly boring, extremely repetitive…
