Daniel’s review published on Letterboxd:
Admirably nasty, parts of this are genuinely shocking in ways I was joyfully unprepared for. Also benefits a lot from a sense of being genuinely well-observed - the Philippous seem to really get how highschoolers communicate with each other, which gives the intensely fatalistic machinations of the plot a sense of well-earned credibility. I'm definitely not the target audience for this at all (that would be fifteen year olds crowded around a laptop at a sleepover looking to scare themselves shitless), and yet I still ended up quite impressed, and yes, pretty freaked out by this charming, horrible little movie.
