5 films from 5 directors: Ti West

I like the homage to 70s slashers (especially TCM) that Ti West does in this film, but I didn't really get the hype for it, unfortunately. My reason for that is because it really felt like a generic slasher at the end, I was hoping it would be something that would leave an imprint on my memory for a little while like The House of the Devil or even, The Texas Chain Saw Massacre. Besides that, it does its job as a slasher! I liked the beginning of the movie, and I do feel like Mia Goth does a great job in her dual roles in this film. I will check out Pearl, so I'm giving ya another chance Ti West!
