2 1970s Regional US horror films
The 1970s was a unique time for horror; many films experimented with themes and set new standards for the genre, and Alice Sweet Alice is one of those films. It is a film that can be considered a blend of the slasher genre and the giallo subgenre since it shares many traits with films from it. It's a shame that this film didn't gain the same popularity that Halloween had received, and I wish that I got the Arrow blu-ray when it was cheaper since I saw the transfer and it looked great!
