Hooptober9 movie 20 with a Lon Chaney movie (and not Junior’s - that’s Mr. Wolf Man).

My 7th movie I’ve seen with Lon Chaney. Is it the best of the 7? No. Is Lon Chaney bad in this compared to his others? Heck no! Chaney seems to enrapture himself into any role, even when the story like this one is a little dull… or at least it was to me. A crippled guy seeking vengeance on the Doctor that amputated him. Ya I think the more scary parts is the way the daughter of the Doctor has so willingly trusted Blizzard (Chaney) to welcome him into her apartment. A complete stranger to her.

Yup, Lon Chaney has that effect where you think you can trust him one minute and then the next he looks like the devil himself (pun intended because the daughter was making a bust sculpture of him as the devil).

My favorite Lon Chaney movies is Phantom of the Opera and The Monster. Definitely check those out!
