Oh it’s Carol for freaks! 

At the end of the day sexuality is about “flesh and fluids”. It was so beautiful to watch this with my partner and reckon with the physical embodiment of queerness and the self on the first day of pride.

So while I still haven't seen any of the Friday the 13th movies, describing this as a "Friday the 13th movie set inside Portrait of a Lady on Fire* still makes sense, and I'm sure you could switch out to other slashers to make it work inside your head. Jane delivers their best movie yet.
