Hooptober movie 14 with this horrible 90s sequel of my favorite Aliens, the Xenomorphs.
My best buddy is right. He said this is the only movie that he has selective amnesia for. This movie came up with an entirely different plot for this movie so that nothing that Ripley succeeded in accomplishing in the 2nd movie is lost within the first 5 minutes of this movie… and off screen too (Team Hicks & Newt forever).
I realize now I’ve made the same choice for selective amnesia with this movie too. I’ve seen this before. Everything in this is easily forgettable. It’s bad. Poor Hicks. Poor Newt. And Bishop!!! He was supposed to stay as the good Ai!!!!!! He was the good guy!!! Damn them! The story is bad. The script is bad. It is such a long film too. Too long.
And that poor dog. This is definitely added to my They Killed the Dog in This Movie list. Really that poor thing. He knew something was wrong from the beginning. No one listens to him or Ripley who is just this butch she-man. Really they had to make her shave her head and look all Gi Jane!! Wrong! So wrong!
I’m sticking with my selective amnesia. Especially because of the ending too.
