Movie 2 for Hooptober!! (Also a movie for my 50+ movies to see in 92 days… which I started last month). And it’s a campy insect horror film with not just David Arquette as I thought (who was so adorkably cute in this!), but also a young Scarlet Johansson that I barely recognized, and also a young Matt Czuchry aka Logan from Gilmore Girls.

I think my favorite part in this was when Matt was being chased by those spiders in the desert while doing fancy stunts on the dirt bike. Also when David actually says the name of the title at one point when describing the spiders.

I was hoping for some alien spiders too but their just your typical (early 2000 cgi) chemical enhancement spiders (freakin crazy how many spiders that old man had!!!!!). There was a whole lot of funny scenes and some that I did jump at because I don’t like spiders (my bff did warn me that there would be A LOT of spiders of ALL different sizes. I was hoping there would be mostly be those giant ones but nope. He was right.). It would’ve been so much cooler if they were vampire spiders from Mars or something.

I am giving it 3.5⭐️🕷 because the kid was watching Them! on tv while telling his mom about those giant spiders 😂 

[Side note that this is added to my They Killed the Dog in This Movie. And they not only killed a dog, but a parrot (who gave me tons of foreshadowing warning about seeing dead people), a cat (both hilarious and so sad), and a cute dog (who doesn’t get killed like that poor cat but still gets eaten).]
