#2: 2 Christopher Lee films (1)
Tubi
Christopher Lee plays a reclusive count with a taxidermy fetish. Donald Sutherland plays both a bumbling constable and a vengeful witch. The setting is a creepy old castle in Napoleonic-era France. While the horror is light, there's a lot to enjoy here thanks to solid gothic atmosphere and great performances. I just wish more scenes took place at night, preferably during a storm.
I'd never even heard of this film until I started digging into lesser-known Lee films. I can see how it flew under the radar with such a generic title. Of course in this case it makes sense since Lee's Count Drago (great name btw) has concocted a serum that, when injected into its victim, instantly kills them and freezes them in place.
