Major props for prioritizing queer representation in a genre that has yet to catch up with the times, & for putting such a small budget to excellent use in clean camerawork, fun costumes & set pieces, & surprisingly believable practical effects.
I just wish there were some clues or hints about our masked murderer's background or motive - even obnoxiously vague clues - to give this film conversational value beyond 'finally a horror movie that's gay af'...but we get nothing ๐ญ
We do, however, get a slew of handsome gay dudes showing their beautiful bare asses, a glitter-chainsaw, & a glass eye that must taste divine. I'd like to see more of these elements on film, plz.
