Mama mia! It felt like just yesterday I was stumbling across HoopTober 4.0 during my first proper year on Letterboxd and falling in love with the challenge! As always, all first time watches. Will mark auxiliary adds as "bonus." Admittedly, some solid crossover here between HoopTober and the Kynky HORRORx52 challenge, but didn't go overboard with crossover. Tried to keep a fairly balanced selection of deep cuts, missed classics, decades, franchise grinding, underrated gems, etc. As tends to be the case, was very '80s heavy. Appreciated the increased focus on more diverse creatives, and LOVED the concept of picking films based on make-up artists. As of last year, would echo the sentiments again that this is a challenge... I think…

I think more parameters excluding output from '80s and '90s white men would still be fun and would push us into further and weirder corners of world cinema! Anyway, as always all respect goes to Cinemonster and the original 6/6/6 list.
