Watched with the commentary by Jim and Marilyn Lovell and I do recommend it if commentaries are your thing. They get into how accurate the movie it (pretty damn accurate) and it's very clear how many emotions they still have around Apollo 13.

I think that, ultimately, where the film failed for me was the final showdown and, specifically, Cesca deciding to stay with Tony. There is nothing in their interactions the entire movie up to that point that makes it believable to me that she would be so ready and eager to help him in his last stand. To help him reluctantly, sure, but she seems almost gleeful at points.

There's a lot that can be said about the conversation this movie was having with the world when it came out, and how it is more relevant today, but the past five years or so have just made the idea that the commander gave the order to stand down and it was completely followed unbelievable.
