Trying to find a good movie in the Netflix horror section is more terrifying than the movies themself

I don't find clowns scary especially not that pennywise, but this movie had me at moments.
Clown is about a father who wants to surprise his kid on his birthday by dressing up as a clown but it turns out that the clown suit is cursed and can not be removed unless a specific number of kids are killed by the guy who is wearing the suit, all this leads to some good body horror sequences filled with relentless violence and gore, there is a scene when the father sees a video of a guy who is possessed by the suit that was so fucking dope and scary. It's the side actors who aren't that good performance wise which spoils the fun.
Nevertheless, it was a good watch especially if you are interested in cursed objects.
if you held a gun to my head and said i had to tell you what happened in this film or you’d shoot i would be writing this review as a ghost
HORROR MOVIE #269:
This kid could’ve asked for dinosaurs or astronauts for his birthday theme but he went with a CLOWN? Honestly that’s the most unrealistic part of this entire movie.
This was unexpectedly entertaining. Towards the beginning I told myself “this is stupid”, but it got better towards the end. It started with a dumb idea with a clown costume getting stuck on a person and I was ready to turn it off. But it’s interesting to see what happened afterwards. What I wasn’t expecting was how brutal the violence was going to be. Usually they pan out the camera during murder scenes, but they really let us see death in all its glory in this movie. The rainbow…
This was actually so much better than I expected it to be! Some of the acting is rough, and "horror movie logic" occasionally happens, but overall this is a very solid horror film with an interesting take on the whole killer clown thing.

What a late-night ripper! Ugly ultraviolent gleeful misery from start to finish. Hits all of the horrific and comedic moments you'd expect from a scary movie called Clown. Was absolutely dying at the severed arms and legs being thrown around constantly. Rainbow blood, too! From the director of Spider-Man: No Way Home.

This current wave of Canadian horror is looking promising. Like Girlhouse, Clown doesn't pander to conservative audiences when it comes to murdering children. That's a trend we haven't experienced much in the age of political correctness. This features a sequence in an indoor "fun zone" where kids are being ripped apart and gutted by a cannibalistic clown demon. Vexed babysitters should enjoy scaring the little monsters with this grim fairy tale.
