I selected this film for this day because it’s one that has been on my radar / watchlist for a long time, but whenever I was doomscrolling streaming menus I’d read the blurb and be like ‘eh, not in the mood’ and move on.

On a tick list of stuff I don’t like in or about films, this contains a lot of them. You’re dropped into the story with little explanation, there’s lots of time where nothing really happens, it’s a slow burn and it has a two hour run time.
