I was very pleasantly surprised, I found it tasteful and very funny. The male hero is wonderfully fictional, and would not exist outside of the female imagination.

Fuck all you lot complaining about this needing a kiss. The dialogue was brilliant and full of heart. This film felt very real and profoundly intimate. It left nothing more to be desired. This a film about working class lesbians in Huddersfield. This is a film about class in Britain. This is a film about a sensitive young boy wishing his mother was happily living with his favourite teacher because he's happiest when they're all together, eating biscuits.
... and then they do [a true genuine happy ending]
