Nils’s review published on Letterboxd:
A small-scale flick, a love letter to the Irish language.
Shines brightest in longer scenes in which the foster parents and Cáit show compassion to one another, even when the moon is the only actual source of light.
From a purely visual perspective, I loved the rural setting the most when it was drenched in sunlight. The audiovisual experience is not Malick-level, but it doesn't need to be. It's straightforward, unpretentious, and still immersive.
