Finally got around to rewatching this, suspecting I’d like it more than before. Ended up loving every damn second. In my opinion, undoubtedly the greatest western ever made, and it's not even close.
Every character is supremely interesting and/or likeable. The setting is dusty, gritty, dirty, windy and exactly what I imagine the old west was like. If it wasn't like this, I don't want to know how it really was. The score is mesmerizing and might actually be Morricones'…
