While taking Art in the Age of AIDS in my first semester of college, I researched and wrote about gay men as sexual beings in AIDS cinema versus reality. Because of this research paper, I watched a lot of AIDS movies (good and bad) and studied their cultural impact and relevance today. Thus, I want to share with everyone the complete AIDS cinema canon, where AIDS is either a factor in the main narrative, a character’s life, or plays some important role in the film.
