For the first time in a motion picture awards season, we are keeping track of the major award ceremony feature film and documentary winners in one place. (Nominees are being kept track of in many other well-curated lists—see below and in the comments.)
The season begins with the Critics’ Choice Documentary Awards on 10 November 2018 and ends with the 91st Academy Awards on 24 February 2019. We include major guilds and significant film critics associations.
The list is ranked by each film’s weighted average rating (highest first). Read the notes for award specifics. We’ll have separate lists for the biggest events (Golden Globes, Oscars).
