This is why you don’t trust little girls. They say one thing then proceed to burn down a whole government organization. Classic.

My list:🔥☄️

Welcome to my red burn deck. Here I just become an asshole and just instantly kill everything on your field then burn you mercilessly.

In all seriousness Drew Barrymore actually kills it in this role. Her and her father have a really fun relationship dynamic. The special effects are pretty incredible too with people being set of fire. Stunts, fire, explosions, fire stunts all going off and creating a terrifying force of power Lil McGee. With out all the pyromania this movie is basic 80’s synth with underground government government coming to get you plot. It executed well and is elevated with the things I mentioned before. John Rainbird plays an entraining villain who you plainly hate through the whole run time, even though he is right when saying Charlie is dangerous. She’s essentially a WMD and portrays that very clearly at the end.

The movie is fun, but slows down in the second act to set up an epic finale. The finale does not disappoint so all is forgiven on my end. Probably worth checking out for the spectacle. Stay for the Barrymore.
