Sooooooo I got trolled really hard on this one. It was not my intention to watch this before the second installment, but here we are. Yes I did enjoy this movie. There was a point where I was sewing my pants back together and wasn’t paying much attention, but when I was watching I enjoyed every second. Blade Trinity is not trying to impress you with smart dialogue or impressive effects. It’s here for you to watch Wesley Snipes walk around and just beat people. It’s incredible and now I’m holding out for Snipes to return to the action movie genre. Crossing my fingers for a John Wick guest appearance, seeing as that franchise just unlocked the unlimited budget achievement. 

Ryan Reynolds is here. He’s fucking built, lean, and plays a caricature of Ryan Reynolds. Don’t know what you expected there. 

Jessica Biel is here too. Mean, built, lean and kicks a lot of ads. Looking damn good while doing it too. 

Obviously they both take a back seat when Snipes struts his way into frame. Honestly one of the reasons  I like this so much is because of Dracula. Dominic Purcell gives a fun fish out of water performance and had one of the best scenes. A scene where he is superimposed infront of the city and just walks around. I’m not trolling you. It’s the best scene.

I think this shit is fun. Don’t go into it trying to dig deep or expect some sort of next level action. It’s dumb fun and it does it well enough.
