When the protagonist smiles, but you’re still terrified you know you found the right guy for the role.

I’ve seen Blade plenty of times as I kid… I think. I can only ever remember the opening scene with the blood sprinklers as that is really the only unique set piece of the movie. However after watching it all the way through I realize just how pivotal Wesley is to the movie Blade. The whole balance of the film hinges on his performance. He doesn’t just carry the film, he hoists it over his back then runs up Everest with it. The movie and premise around him is so silly, yet he gets in the role and cuts through it like a hot katana through a vampires neck.
If you’re bored one night. Maybe a little high. Have popcorn close by and some friends in the vicinity. Crack a few beers? Maybe consider popping this on too. You probably won’t have a bad time.
