SPOILAS
I like how the end of the movie is just the birds back to being stupid birds trying not to get run over by a car, but that's what makes The Birds scary to begin with. The Birds trick you into a false sense of security and you're like ah yes these birds, they are so stupid, look at them fly and eat garbage, but then you've got fifty of them on top of you and you're just fucked, and their act of stupidity was all a ploy. I believe this to be true, because geese are already halfway there to revealing their true nature
Humans: *are horny*
Birds of the Earth: Okay you know what, fuck this, they’re done
me in the first half of the movie: where are the birds. not enough birds.
me in the second half of the movie: plEASE STOP WITH THE BIRDS NO MORE BIRDS

My dad showed me this when I was a kid and when it gets to the part where they show the woman with her eyes pecked out he went “whoops,” looked over at me and saw that I’d already seen it, and then went “oh well.”
I could easily defeat these little fuckers by simply not having a bunch of pent-up internal sexual and familial chaos to prey on or be externalized in the first place.
