I had a blast with this although I'm sure the gimmick could wear off quickly with some viewers. That gimmick is that Nude Tuesday was written in English, performed in gibberish, and then given to a comedian, Julia Davis, who wrote the subtitles, having no idea what the original script said. The entire exercise feels part improv and part naughty mad libs. It's a clever gimmick that brings this somewhat stale story into a much funnier and more energetic space.
We follow Laura and Bruno, a married couple, trying to repair their relationship the only way couples can....in a nudist camp with a creepy cult leader, played daftly by Jemaine Clement's penis and also the rest of his body. If you're good at embracing your inner teenager, Nude Tuesday should give you plenty of giggles.
