Stoner psychology through experimental art-house animation. It’s missing Pete Doctor’s storytelling ability and a thru-line of character, but Everybody Rides the Carousel still has some incredibly thought-provoking visual metaphors that are often tied very well into the vignetted text. 

The Young Adulthood: Intimacy vs. Isolation chapter (featuring Meryl Streep’s first film
performance!) was a perfect short film in my opinion.
