This film. For most of it, this was a typical noir revenge plot with more violence than usual. It tells you before you even watch it what you will see, then it shows that to you, and it continues showing it to you. Eventually it starts to feel hollow, and that is when the film actually starts. The ending probably raised this two stars for me. I was scared by it. It was pretty rough. I haven't panicked and paused a movie for ages.
I read very frequently "This was a great film and I am never watching it again". Usually that means I will want to watch it frequently. In this case, I think once got the point across. It was a very worthwhile viewing but a lot of switching between tedious and gruesome for 90 minutes before it started to pay off for me.
"Enjoy" I guess?
