Cannes #2 - Red carpet premiere heheh
every emotion that they wanted to convey was delivered to us extremely well: the acting was INCREDIBLE (if I could give all my letterboxd stars to Eden I would), and in return the camerawork and cinematography were extremely sensitive and receptive to the range of the actors. As an audience, it was very easy to feel things. So yes! I cried from the first 10 mins all the way to the end!
However, I do ask myself how constructive that is... Another queer narrative that leaves me feeling completely hollowed out? Why take it this far? Let queer kids be happy!!! We’re bored of crying!!!
