4. It would have been Anthony Perkin's birthday today!!!! Watch any of his horror movies EXCEPT Psycho (1960).

5. Watch any horror movie directed or produced by Roger Corman. BUT it also has to be released in your birth year or as close to your birth year as possible.

6. Watch a horror movie directed by anyone who had a short in any of the V/H/S movies.

7. A movie with a killer pig or boar....one that features pigs eating people is ok too.

8. Kane Hodder. It's Kane freakin' Hodder's birthday! Watch him be awesome in a movie.

9. Shaun of the Dead was released theatrically on this day in the UK, way back in 2004. Watch a zombie/comedy to celebrate.

10. There's plenty of horror movies about killer dogs. Maybe if more people had hugged them, they wouldn't have been so kill-y. To celebrate National Hug Your Dog Day, watch a murderous pooch movie and think about whether a hug would've helped. (*bonus points if you hug a dog today*)

11. Watch a horror movie with Elias Koteas in it. He's great!

12. Watch either Kairo (2001 aka Pulse) or it's remake or any of the sequels. Just because.

15. Say the word YELLOW out loud a few times and listen to yourself as you say it. It's a very strange sounding word isn't it? Watch any horror flick with the word YELLOW in the title.

16. Watch any Stephen King movie about killer inanimate objects.

17. Watch a film directed by Juan Piquer Simón.

18. A horror film directed by anyone named René Cardona. (There's 3 generations yo!)

19. A horror movie featuring The Headless Horseman.
