There's something elusive about Cadáver exquisito, a queer erotic thriller about desire and shifting identity.

With the former, there's a desire for transcendence. To seek an awakening outside of the mortal shell: through drugs, through dance, through bondage.

With the latter, an eponymous exquisite corpse. Where the jilted lover picks up from the last sentence of her partner, inseparably mixing both their narratives.

Cadáver exquisito relays it's themes implicitly, using the language of cinema to convey the meaning over blunt-force dialogue. It left me with the desire to mull it over in my mind and work out my own interpretation; one of the highest commendations I can give.
