Here it is! The time has come again and I have decided to make a trilogy! I love love love watching new queer films and to get to learn about the different aspects of queer films. There is always something new and you have never seen it all.

The newest difference I wanted to make with this list is that it only has forty tasks, and you do not have to watch them in order. For the past two years I've tried to do challenges and every time I get overwhelmed and can't keep up every week. Hopefully this helps others who feel the same. If you want more films, there is definitely nothing stopping you from going back to some old challenges or making up tasks for yourself to do each week.
I decided I wanted to try something new and I have explanations behind why I chose each different task so you can see why I chose each one. Then, you know what to look for in each film, especially since a few choices seem to be off. So look in the notes for explanations!!
Also note: when I include a film starring or made by a queer filmmaker, I also will allow documentaries about those people if you'd rather learn about them especially since there are great docs about Derek Jarman and Orry-Kelly.
Tag all of your reviews with Queerchallenge19 so we can follow along with your progress! Post the link in the comment section below! Then I'll provide a link to your list to a masterlist. Have fun and make your year gayer!!
