What’s a Hooptober without Argento?

Well I’ve been looking out for this guy I pop up on a streaming service for the longest time. What a treat that Criterion is like, “here ya go bub!”
It’s some classic Argento fuckery with wacky plot, wooden characters, cool score, crazy sets and a questionable story. Why do I still think these movies are so good? Because you’ll probably never see anything like these movies again and they’re entertaining. I mean it’s hard to beat. The investigation is always fun to hop in on even if it’s not hard to figure out. I can always trust Argento to pull some bullshit to make it fun.
