First Hooptober movie for 2021. This is my second year of doing this challenge, I’m calling this year the Golden Age Hooptober 8.0 challenge as I love classic movies. This year I’m starting it with one of Martin Scorsese’s top favorite Horror movies.

This movie was so good. The vibes in this is hauntingly beautiful. The suspense was something like a Hitchcock movie. The plot moved nicely and the characters were good. I absolutely love the way this was filmed! I found this on Direct tv with Turner Classic channel’s stream now under the title Curse of the Demon. As for a “cult” movie there could’ve been more of the cult members. Everything else was perfect.

I watched this on streaming with Turner Classic channel on Direct tv because I wanted to hear what the hosts say about this movie. Ben Mankiewicz discussed this before and after. One of the things he mentioned is something that I agree on. Ben mentioned that the director Tourneur didn’t want to show the demon until the ending and that it was the producers that made him show the demon at the beginning of the movie. Ben said that with all the conflicts about that decision, he couldn’t care less. He’s right because this movie is still perfection regardless. And I really loved that demon!
