This is how you properly do a documentary. Informative, insightful, interesting. All the socio-political framework around these movies make them more interesting than one would thought at first. Highly recommended for fans of horror, erotica, eurosleaze, exploitation and transgressive cinema in general.
This is not a perfect movie, but out of all the 80s underwater horror movies, this is a decent one. Directing, acting, the creature, underwater scenes, drama, thiller/horror, it all works out fine. It warrants at least one viewing from fans of this subgenre.
I don't understand all the hate towards this film. It was quite funny all along, specially the final sequence with the car chasing. This is not a masterpiece, that's for sure, but we can't complain of 85 minutes of pure entertainment.
