I went back and reassessed my 2018 list. While I met all of the objectives, I missed my personal objective of having only one movie meet each criteria by ONE movie. I saw six films by the various directors, but...
a) I didn't see one by William Lustig
b) To get to six total I have to count one of my anniversary films by Terence Fisher.
So yeah, I "won," but I didn't QUITE pull off what I wanted to do. Rats.
I've watched peeps do this "watch a bunch of horror movies leading up to Halloween thing while following certain specifications" thing for a couple of years, but I never jumped on it myself. Gonna give it a shot…

I've watched peeps do this "watch a bunch of horror movies leading up to Halloween thing while following certain specifications" thing for a couple of years, but I never jumped on it myself. Gonna give it a shot this year. I'm challenging myself by watching one movie for each criterion for the challenge, effectively having each movie that "counts" fulfill only one criterion despite most overlapping several.
Check out the notes to see which criteria each movie fulfills.
