ORIGINAL POST WITH RULES
I've been absent from Letterboxd and film watching/reviewing for quite some time. My attempts at getting back into the swing of things have often failed. However, It's time for Cinemonster's Hoop-Tober and there's nothing on Letterboxd that gets me more amped. So, allow me to use this joyous annual challenge as a definitive re-entry into watching films, writing reviews and having fun.

I may have gone slightly overboard. Instead of consolidating certain rules I have selected a film for each of them, amassing a total that is far more than the days in October. However, the goal is to start now and end when I can - October will be filled with the majority of watching but I'm not going to pressure myself to do a film a day. With writing the reviews and...life, that would probably be too taxing.
Also worth mentioning is that in previous years I have never been able to finish a Hoop-Tober, so I have a lot of films left over from previous challenge attempts. So, going along with the theme of revival, I have used many of the films from previous lists that I didn't watch - with the intent of finally knocking them off my list of shame.
Anyway, enough prefacing, let's mentally and emotionally torture ourselves.
